Cathy Terwilliger – President
Cathy has been working in the technology field for over 11 years with experience in software development, project management, sales, marketing and management. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems from the University at Albany.
Ms. Terwilliger serves as President for the Alliance of Technology and Women’s Tech Valley (Albany, NY) Chapter. “Encouraging young women to follow their interests in technology, while having the guidance of women who have been in their place and know the challenges they will face, is invaluable. Bringing men and women together to share experiences to help the women in my community drew me to ATW” says Ms. Terwilliger.
Cathy is the Director of Sales & Marketing for Shaker Computer & Management Services, Inc., where she leads a staff of marketing and sales professionals in selling an Enterprise Resource Planning System for the construction industry. She was recognized in 2007 as one of the 40 under 40 up and coming executive leaders by the Albany Business Review. Ms. Terwilliger also served on the Marketing Committee for the Institute of Certified Construction Financial Professionals, Inc. |

Tracie McGill – Vice President of Operations & Finance
Tracie McGill is a financial professional with over 14 years of experience with an emphasis on designing and implementing financial systems. McGill uses technology and her accounting background to improve an organization’s ability to plan and analyze operations. McGill graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York. She obtained her Certification as a Public Accountant from the State of Arizona in 1995. She served as a Big Sister with the Valley Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization for 7 years. McGill is an advocate of attracting more women into the technology industry and is a proud supporter of woman-owned businesses. When she is not working, she enjoys scuba diving and rock climbing. |

F. Shadi Shahedipour-Sandvik - Vice President for Programs
Has over a decade of experience working as a scientist and educator in educational and research institutions and has been involved with and organized many outreach programs. In her capacity as the Vice President for Programs with ATWDr. Sandvik is responsible for growing membership through delivery of ATW branded lifecycle programs, including GREAT MINDS, Collegiate, Mentoring and Executive Leadership. “I have seen it first-hand the impact that ATW has had on elevating interest and promoting women with careers in technology as well as inspiring girls with interest in science and technology related fields through discovery-based activities. I am excited about being part of a team that promotes this vision.” says Sandvik.
Professor Shahedipour-Sandvik is with the faculty of NanoEngineering Constellation at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering and is a scientist with Albany Nanotech, located in Albany, NY. Dr. Sandvik was awarded the Governor’s 2005 Women of Excellence award and “Rising to Lead 2006 Best Technologist” award by ATW. |

Terri Fallon - Director of Marketing
Terri Fallon’s background incorporates over a decade of experience in technology-company sales, sales support, marketing and client implementation. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University. Ms. Fallon serves as Co-Director of Marketing for the Albany chapter of the Alliance for Technology and Women. In this role, she shares responsibility for creating and implementing the marketing vision and strategy for the chapter toward goals of growing the membership and providing support for the Educate and Mentor program. “ATW is the sole local organization with a focus on empowering and supporting women in the technology realm. Because New York’s Capital Region is one of today’s fastest-growing technology centers, there is a clear need for ATW’s programs, mentorship, and the setting it provides for creating connections with fellow professionals. I am eager to help bring smart, creative women together.”
Ms. Fallon is the Marketing and Client Relations Director at VersaTrans Solutions, Inc., where she provides leadership to teams in digital map production, training and technical support and drives the marketing function for the firm. She serves on the executive committee and helps establish the company’s strategic direction. Ms. Fallon served as the Co-Chair of the Membership and Marketing Committee for the Schools Interoperability Framework. |

Susan Stewart - Director of Great MINDS
Susan Stewart, LEED™ - Accredited Professional, is a project manager in Albany New York at EYP, a nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm. Throughout her career, she has specialized in the design of advanced technology buildings, such as semiconductor cleanrooms, medical device manufacturing spaces, biotechnology research laboratories, and healthcare facilities. A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo’s department of architecture, Ms. Stewart has lived, worked, and served the community in the Hudson Valley, Silicon Valley, Arizona, Southern California, the Washington, DC area, and now, the Capital Region.
Susan is the Director of the Great Minds mentoring program at ATW Tech Valley chapter, initiating a program of bringing young girls into technology companies and institutions in the region. Susan is passionate about creating interest and appreciation for science, technology, and innovation in our young girls, and helping to provide role models and inspiration to these girls. During her spare time, Susan also enjoys reading, gardening, movies, and spending time with family and friends.
On her current roles, both a project manager and with ATW, Stewart says, “I believe in technology; I have high hopes for what today’s innovators are trying to do for all of us, and I’m proud to be in a role that supports their efforts. I also believe in women. We are capable, necessary, and valuable to all different endeavors”. |

Barb Wisnom –
Director of Executive Coaching
Barbara Wisnom is an executive and business coach, organizational development consultant, trainer and facilitator. She brings over 25 years of management experience to her work. Barbara is currently affiliated with The Third Zone, an international coaching and consulting company.
Her focus is business. Specifically, coaching executives and senior level managers. She also offers customized trainings in the areas of leadership and team development, communication skills and group facilitation. Barbara maintains a private coaching practice, working with her clients to make their unique goals come alive.
Barbara holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Science from Niagara University and SUNY Buffalo respectively. She is a certified professional co-active coach (CPCC) and holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coach Federation, an organization committed to excellence in the profession of coaching.

Jana Springer Behe, Esq. - Director of Membership
Jana S. Behe is a contracting professional with a primary focus on corporate and contractual compliance. As CCO of NYSTEC, Jana uses her legal background to assist the corporation with risk assessments, procurement efforts, contractual compliance, and technology consulting efforts. NYSTEC is a private not-for-profit corporation that operates as a trusted advisor to New York State, local, and public entities in matters of technology consulting. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Jana is the United Way Chair for her company’s annual giving drive as well as the co-coordinator for various other charitable giving initiatives at her company throughout the year. She currently serves as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region and is also an active member of UR Involved Alumni Volunteer Program working with the University of Rochester Undergraduate Admissions Office. |
