Joanne Goldberg - President

As President of ATW, Joanne Goldberg supports the Leadership Team in implementing all Chapter programs, and provides a link between the Chapter and the National Leadership Team. Joanne is a Principal QA/Systems Specialist in the IT department at Medtronic Microelectronics Center in Tempe, AZ, supporting several application development teams.  She uses her background in manufacturing, materials, quality, process improvement, and systems development to implement effective and  efficient systems and processes that are compliant with regulatory requirements and deliver high-quality results."

   

Emilie Sundie – Vice President

As Vice-President of ATW, Emilie advises the President and Leadership Team on chapter matters and program implementation. She's a principal of The Sundie Group, a business that supports the implementation of water resource development and information systems projects, and has over thirty years experience in information systems. She began her career as a Systems Engineer with IBM and continued working for IBM as an Information Services Consultant providing planning, systems design, programming and software implementation services. She has also has extensive experience in the real estate and construction markets in business analyst, project manager and information services management roles, and providing support services for commercial development projects. Emilie has a Masters Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the Pennsylvania State University.

   

Carol LeMaster - Sponsorship Director

As the Director of Sponsorship, Carol contacts companies to encourage them to boost their diversity programs by sponsoring and participating in the many events that ATW offers to women who are interested in advancing their technology careers. She is currently the Health Care Practice Manager for Advantage Professionals, a staffing firm that places IT professionals with Fortune 500 clients nationwide and her 10 years of IT recruiting experience includes college, corporate and agency IT staffing. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Arizona State University and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix.

 

Gordana Kovac-Djordjevic, Membership Director

Gordana Kovac-Djordjevic is QA Engineer in Apriva, Scottsdale AZ. She also has over 20 years project management experience in the fiber optic/telecommunication industry. She grew up in Having grown up in Serbia (thenYugoslavia) and immigrated to Canada, and eventually the U.S. She graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Belgrade.

 

Marni Patterson - Marketing and Web Director

As Marketing and Web Director, Marni's responsible for marketing and publicizing ATW's programs in the media and to other professional groups, and maintaining the web site. She is a Global Product Marketing Manager for Sun Microsystems and has 10 years experience in product and international marketing for high tech companies. She has a BA in International Relations and MA in Communications from Syracuse University, and graduated with honors with an MBA in International Business from Touro University International.

   

Paula Shoup - Great Minds Director

Paula directs the Great Minds Program, which involves developing and promoting programs that connect girls and young women with technology career ambitions. She's currently the Director of Strategic Sourcing for Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management (CRDM) business unit, which manufactures electronic modules for implantable pacemakers, defibrillators, and neurological stimulators. She graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Supply Chain, and has spent the last 21 years in various operations and supply chain roles at Motorola, Honeywell, and United Technologies Hamilton Standard.

 

Roberta Zatkowsky - Program Director

Roberta is responsible for creating and facilitating ATW’s monthly educational program events. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Buffalo in New York. She then received her Master of Science Degree from the School of Public Health at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is currently the Director of Business Development at Logicalis, a subsidiary of $3.2B Global parent DataTec. She provides support in the IT areas of Application Development and Integration, Enterprise Support Services, and Business Intelligence, through staffing various positions and project teams.

 

Teresa Kaczmarowski - Mentoring Director

Teresa is the Mentoring Program Director, and is responsible for managing the ATW Mentoring for Professionals Program. This includes establishing mentoring relationships with professionals to serve as mentors and providing a program that offers training, networking and professional growth opportunities for participants. Teresa has a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University, and is a Senior Principal Systems Engineer at Medtronic. She has spent the last 24 years in positions leading IT, Quality, Manufacturing Automation and, most recently, Finance, has worked in Regulatory, Lean Sigma and Supply Chain Management, and has managed global projects in the U.S. and Europe.

 

Claudia Morgan - Treasurer

Claudia serves as Treasurer for the Phoenix ATW and ensures record keeping is current and accurate. She's a Senior Corporate Recruiter with ON Semiconductor and has more than ten years in this the recuiting field. She's passionate about finding opportunities to educate and encourage women to go into technology fields because she feels our current social and education system are failing to provide youth, and women in particular with the necessary skills. Claudia has a Bachelor's Degree in Management from the Arizona State University College of Business.
