Mentoring program

One of the key benefits to our members is our Mentoring for Professionals program.  The mission of our program is to create an environment of mutual support and sharing among professional women through specifically designed learning sessions and individually prescribed mentor/mentee relationships.

The tech industry is one of the best places for women to work in terms of pay, opportunities, and challenges. Yet women occupy only 20% of technology jobs and 11.1% of Board seats and Officer positions in Fortune 500 technology companies.  Through mentoring by professionals in the Phoenix tech sector, we seek to grow the pool of experienced and successful women in technology organizations.

ATW Mentoring for Professionals program offers:

  • Strategic matching based on mentee/mentor interviews

  • Training with a professional facilitator

  • Proven curriculum

  • Monitoring and periodic checkpoints

  • Programs run in six- month increments

  • Mentee participation limited to ATW members

  • Mentors recruited with experience in the technology industry

If you are interested in applying to be a Mentor or a Mentee and live in the Phoenix area (mentees are required to be members of ATW's Phoenix chapter), please complete the on-line application.

We are also looking volunteers in the following roles:

  • One-time event volunteers

  • Program development leaders

  • Location hosts and speakers

If you are interested in any of the above positions, or would like more information on the Mentoring for Professionals program, please do not hesitate to contact Teresa Kaczmarowski – Mentoring Program Director.
